About t-mobile "Even More PlusSM Plans" is a cc required?

I just came from mexico, i have a "movistar" sims card. When i came to the USA it says "t-mobile" as my provider, it used to say "movistar" i mexico. Sometimes it says "AT&T" I checked out t-mobile plans, and i liked one that was called "Even More PlusSM Plans" it says "no contract required" I am wondering if I need a credit card, or if i can just pay cash in store.? I do have a credit card, but I don't want it to be billed every month. I just want my phone to stop working if I don't pay it. And my chip says "t-mobile" sometimes, so maybe i can have the same number I had in mexico???
