About how much would it cost me to replace my master cylinder in my 1988 Cadillac Sedan?

I recently purchased a 1988 Cadillac and the brakes are really bad, the pedal goes all the way to the floor and in oder to slow down, I have to pump them a certain way. I believe it's my master cylinder that is out, and I'm wondering how much it would cost...?
