R ratgirl New member Oct 4, 2010 #2 I reckon just until the sanitizer has dried all the way from your hands. As long as none of the "wetness" from the sanitizer gets on your food your fine. (as far as I know) I believe most of the alcohol evaporates away pretty quickly.
