about HIV test result and how accurate?

i had this unprotected sex last oct 2008.. after a year.. i had an HIV test and its negative.. its 1year since the possible encounter.. how accurate is that?? i mean is it 100% sure that im really negative of HIV? cause this past few months.. im having flu again and again.. (i also think that the cause of my flu is that its cold here this time.. and because of the changing climates.. very cold at night... very hot in afternoon..) can someone enlightened me how accurate can HIV test be..

After a month they can tell if you do the blood test if you have HIV so its true. The things you feel i don't know. It could be the changing weather body heats its self for the cold and then needs to switch to cool itself against the heat. BUT if i were you i should take another blood test just to be sure. You also could have other things like infections o a virus
 
It's accurate, dont worry about it. If you had HIV you wouldn't be having symptoms until about 3 - 5 years after you aquired the disease.
