About dance/workout shoes.......?

I have those interlocking foam floors you can get at Big Lots that people use to put under exercise equipment and use in there basements and garages and so on. My question is this...I REALLY need to continue my workouts since I've put these down because I have absolutely no place else to do it and I dance hard, not ballet or tap or jazz but more like aerobics. Last time I did it in my socks but my foot hurt for days after so I guess I learned the hard way that you can't work out in bare feet or socks because of injury. What kind of shoes would be good to get to work out on this kind of floor where I can't wear sneakers on so I don't tear it up? I will appreciate ANYONE'S answer because I really need to know. Ballet shoes won't do it because of how much I jump during my workouts, the way they are bunched under the ball of the foot would only hurt and could cause possible injury. I have a bone callas or something under the ball of one of my feet so I need something strong to support my feet but that won't tear up the foam floor. Thank You!
