???? about Cricket

Sorry about that i was looking at getting a Samsung r500.
One that i buy from the cricket store im not looking to flash it or anything if i can get those apps to work on the phone. I would like to know if i can get them to work that is the only thing stopping me right now from going to cricket. If that phone will not work what do you guy say to get.

thank you for any help with this.

the r500 is brew based. I would recommend the nokia 6275i if you are wanting a cricket branded phone to run those apps.. actually i'd recommend that phone to anyone looking for a cricket branded phone. Sprint and Bell Mobility (Canadian Carrier) are the main CDMA carriers that use JAVA on their phones. Sprint Phones are undesirable because you will not beable to get wap or mms going. I am unsure of the ability to get these features working on Bell Mobility phones, and their phones will be harder to come by here in the States. otherwise the only non-brew phones you're going to find that you can flash with web and mms will be PDA phones such as the ppc6700 or mogul, both of which are excellent choices, widely available, and there is a lot of documentation on how to get these up and running on Cricket.
