If you look into health food places you can find some low acidic coffee's.
I know how hard it is to give up the java.

I don't mind giving up fatty fooRAB, spicy, sweets, tomato based, but my coffee?!!! I guess I should try, I am on 80mg of nexium a day, and was hoping at least one coffee a day would be Ok.

I went to the health food stores here in UK, but they don't sell low acid coffee, they sell the substitutes which is made from barley, and chicory. I checked on the net, but they won't post it to UK either.

It's not just the acid - the caffeine is also a big part of the problem (I guess you'd need low-acid decaf but then what would be the point in drinking it?)

I drink coffee... when my acid reflux is real bad I don't drink it for a few days and that helps..once its under control I can drink it again... for me its not coffee that seems to set it off, but once something does I have to stop drinking it and eating alot of different fooRAB.. I'd rather give coffee up for a few days than have to give it up forever!

I find the Folger's Simply Smooth coffee to really help w/ any sensitive stomach issues. It tastes very good and I have little or no acid problems after drinking it.
You may want to give it a try. It comes in Reg. or decaf.
