When I take a deep breath, my left side, like at the bottom portion of my lung seems to hurt or feel extremely sore/ tight. (like I can't breathe in any more. Then when I exhale, it sounRAB like a growl almost. Kind of like wind howling through glass in the winter..?? I don't really know how to explain it.

could be anything. have you been sick lately? if it hurts and is really congested it could be pneumonia... im definitely not a dr. but ive had walking pneumonia and your lung is just severly congested and it hurts to breathe in and sounRAB horrible when you breathe in or out. id def. go to the dr. the worst feeling in the world is not being able to breathe. ive been there and its terrifying so you just dont want it to get worse or move to your other lung... you know. good luck

Get it checked out soon!! It could be a partialy collapsed lung.........wich can be a result of broncitus ..asthma or phnemonia.Go to you're doctor {:+}

I've been having the same feeling for a couple of weeks now - accompanied by chronic coughing. It felt like my left lung was hurting and a tremendous amount of congestion in there (rattling). I went to an urgent care clinic when I began running a low grade fever and was prescribed antibiotics and a steroid along with MucinexDM max. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. This is nothing new for me. I've had chronic broncitis off and on forever. I would suggest you visit a doctor asap. Putting it off could be dangerous to your health.
