about a chat room question?

okay so ICQ i was just being stupidly curious and i wanted to see what chat rooms people talked about. so when i got on icq all i did is log in as a "guest". i didn't talk or make an account or anything. and since i am a worry-wort. i have this question-can they track you down where you live?
i didn't do anything at all, they just had a default guest login. i didnt type in a IP address or anything.
 
It depends how save you talk, in terms of, you Shouldn't tell anybody where you live. But i'ts almost impossible to track you down from simply being in the chat room.
Another thing, if they had your IP adress, they actually could track you down, but that is only visible to ICQ, not other members in the chat room.
