Abe Lincoln once said, "If you are a racist, I will attack you with the north."?

There is no evidence to suggest that Lincoln did actually say this. It would have been particularly foolish for any politician to come out with something like this at the time of the Civil Wars. I suspect he said something that didn't have the same meaning that was then taken out of all proportion and attributed to him in retrospect.
 
Nobody even used the word 'racist' until it was coined by MLK, Jr in his "For evil to triumph" speech, so Lincoln never said it. Racist, indeed...
 
This is a quote from The Office (American version) by Michael Scott. Abraham Lincoln definitely never said this.
