I went to seen an internal medicine Dr. today- about why I have this fullness feeling all the time - like I just ate a huge meal. I have also developed left and right side upper abdomen pain. In the past have been treated for acid reflux but have not had problems with that in a long time. He has decided to have me get tested with an upper endoscopy to look down my throat and stomach to check for ulcers he said. My question is what else could this be if not an ulcer? What can cause the left and right side pain and fullness, loss of appetite, lower back pain?
I am just worried if is not an ulcer - which I don't have any issues with different foods bothering me, or pain in the breastbone area, so I think he is just ruling out ulcer. My question is what else could this be?
I find myself sitting differently in a chair to get comfortable.
Any advise on what the endocopy will show?
