A717 vs KRZR vs V3xx vs ???

I just want a phone for making calls. Nothing else. I do want something that'll fit into the pocket of my jeans very easily and I very much want a phone that sounds great when I'm talking on it. Given that, are some of the more feature-laden phones worth it? I don't really want to pay a lot, but if it means getting a smaller phone with good performance, so be it. If so, which one?

Right now I'm considering

A717 (that's what I'm leaning toward)
KRZR
V3xx
Something else slightly bigger would be fine as long as its either less expensive or better for sound quality

if that's all you want from a phone, i would recommend the V3. the voice clarity and reception are superb.

btw the KRZR isn't a good choice.
