im thinkin of getting either one of theses phone but i really dont know which to get....could you guys help me out a little bit and maybe tell me the advantages and disadvantages of both...thanx in advance..
 
I have an A1000.

I use TomTom 5 Mobile for satellite navigation(turn by turn navigation) with a Bluetooth GPS receiver. I use SmartCom GPS for tracking with the built-in GPS receiver. I use vector maps with Vito SmartMaps. I have the maps for New England and the Mid Atalntic as well as the whole of Canada.

I can edit Office files (XLS, DOC, PPT) as well as text files. I can view PDF files but not edit. It has 2 cameras (front and rear) the rear camera is a 1.3 megapixel with 4x zoom. the front camera is a vga one, used for video calling. You can also use the rear facing camera for video calls. Cameras are both still and video. 2 speakers (left and right). It uses Opera v7.5 as an Internet browser for full browsing-switchable between Portrait and Landscape modes. Call manager, Device locks (protects Applications as well)

A1000 is a Symbian UIQ phone that runs Symbian OS7, there are lots of third party applications available for it.

A1000 plays all music through your BT headset (I have a Moto H500). It also is a Video player-plays 3GP,3GPP, MP4 and AVI videos(xvid codec). There are applications which can optimize DVD movies to play on your phone. So it is an Audio (MP3, WAV, MID, WMA, AMR, OGG) player, a Video player, it plays games. You can also read ebooks. And a videophone if your network supports it (3G). One very good SmartPhone. This phone is dual mode - 3G (WDCMA 2100) and GSM (triband 900/1800/1900)

I have a 1GB transflash.

About the other 2 phones I can not tell you anything about them. I think they are Linux OS phones.

The A1200 does everything the a100 does except edit documents, but i hear that there is a 3rd party app that allows u to edit, microsoft word, excel, and pdf files, Also the A1200 packs a very nice 2mp camera, the sound is very good, also plays movies at full screen at 320x240. and plays varies music files, Also i think the A1200 is one of the best looking phones out there, very sexy phone, also like the fact that it is a flip phone, so the screen is better protected.
