Hi,
I'm a 21 year old female in decent health. I only say decent because I don't really exercise, and I don't eat as healthy as I know I should (there are reasons why, but they aren't important I suppose). I'm almost 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs, so I'm not overweight or anything. I get sick often, but not SICK sick. Mostly just stomach issues and generalized feeling icky.
I will admit that I am a bit of a hypochondriac, in all seriousness. I am very, very concerned when it comes to my health, BUT, I'm also very knowledgeable (or so I feel) about health issues so I can usually control myself and not blow things out of proportion if say, I just have a headache. If that makes sense.
Saying these things, I take my temperature on a regular basis. Very regular--multiple times a day. My normal body temperature falls within the 97.7F to 98.1F range when I am not sick. Ever since this past Wednesday afternoon (Nov 10th), my body temperature has been elevated. It has been anywhere from 98.7F to 99.6F, usually at around 99.1F. I know this may not seem bad since it's not considered a fever, but for my temperature to be this "off" from normal is odd.
I've also been having some chest pains--not anything I should be going to the hospital about, but they are there. They aren't all the time, and they aren't bad enough to make me wince in pain or anything. They're just momentary sharp, almost pulling pains that happen at random and are more likely to happen when I'm bending over/doing something as opposed to just sitting in bed. My chest is also tender and it hurts when I press in the middle, I guess on my sternum? In between my breasts.
And finally, I have some stomach trouble that just started last night/early this morning. Stomach issues are not uncommon for me--they are probably what plague me the most. Last week, I had some dull aches, twinges and cramps in my lower abdomen. I was close to ovulating, so I just assumed that was related to that, and I still am not sure it isn't. But last night and today, I've been having some more discomfort in my lower abdomen and had the urge to have a bowel movement. When I went, my stool wasn't watery, but it was soft, for lack of a better word. It was normal colored, most were normal shape (some were tiny, from it breaking while straining). It hurts a bit to go, but it's not like a hemorrhoid or fissure or anything. It's more like an internal cramp in my rectum? And there has been a lot of feces to pass and it is hard to pass it (even though it's soft)--I spent 30 minutes in the bathroom both times.
Is there anyone that can give me some advice? I am not sure if all these symptoms are related, but they are started around the same time so I'm kind of assuming (which I shouldn't do). I am going to try to get into the doctor tomorrow, but I do have a lot of anxiety thanks to my hypochondria, so I'd like to ease my mind today before I go tomorrow.
I also do suffer from anxiety, and I'm not sure that the chest pain is related to the anxiety. I also have a sore, tender spot on the back, lower, left part of my skull/head, right behind my ear. I have no idea what it is, as I haven't hit my head or anything recently, but it is of concern to me.
I would GREATLY appreciate some feedback; so very sorry this is long.
Thank you!!
