A transport economics question for the genisus' among you?

I need to summaries the trends in transport in the UK over that last TEN years (approx.). I need to discuss trends in
- road
-rail
-air and
-sea transport
......distingushing between passengers and freight in each case.
(look at various categories in the case of roads)

so i am looking at the DEMAND side of transport
i have been looking for the info all morning.,
and until i get i cant write any conclusions :o :o

can someone please help
