A thought that just came to me whilst watching Chamber of Secrets...**SPOILERS**

NOTE: These are spoilers from both Chamber of Secrets as well as Prisoner of Azkaban.

I was just watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and a thought came to me. It is a very small, as well as very irrelevant theory, but a theory nonetheless.

In the part where the kids are in Transfiguration Class, and Ron accidentally turns his rat, Scabbers, into a Goblet with a tail, Professor McGonogall (SP?) blames this mistake on his broken wand.

My thought comes from the fact that, since Scabbers is actually Wormtail transfigured into a rat, do you think the Goblet turned awry because a transfigured animal can not transfigure a second time, while the person is an animal?

I know this post probably does not make much sense, and like I said, it is not a very relevant theory, but please hear me out, lol.

If i'm not mistaken, in the book, doesn't McGonagall or Hermione turn his rat into something with ease?

If not then

I thought about this when in the first book Ron was trying to turn "this stupid fat rat yellow"

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that part, too.

....Hm....maybe this is a deeper theory than I thought.

Still very shallow, but deeper nonetheless, lol.

Goos question but I don't think it makers, since it wasn't wormtail doing the xmutation.

Well, since transforming yourself turns you into the animal, I think that any spell that would have worked on a normal rat would work on an animagus. "Turn this stupid fat rat yellow" can't be a real spell, lol.
