I had to read two French novels for class and this was one of them. By the end I knew what was going on, but I really would appreciate a summary so I can get a better idea of what happened! I've tried Google and I can't find anything helpful. I also have no idea what an "ombre chinoise" is. I know what it means literally, but I feel like it might be a French saying I don't know. Can anyone help me out?
