...Creationists would deny the presence....? ......of metals in the stars (including the sun). I had never heard this and wonder why any Creationist would allegedly deny the formation of heavier elements in the fusion process of the stars. So, (1) Why would any creationist deny this as something which the Bible supposedly denies, and (2) what evidence/citation can be produced which documents Creationist opposition to such science?

Indeed, I've never met a Creationist who questions the use of spectral analysis to detect various elements (including metals) in stars. Why would a Creationist (such as myself, for that matter) deny basic science? [And please keep in mind that most Creationists are not part of the very vocal MINORITY of creationists who believe the earth is 6000+ years old and thinks the Hebrew YOM of Genesis 1 is referring to 24hour days.]
