a reply refused because of HTML vs plain text?

I replied to a group email and rec'd a notice for Yahoo that they could not send HTML messages only plain text. I've never had a problem replying to the group before. What could be the problem?
 
The problem seems clear enough. The email must be sent as "plain text". You probably used "rich text" which is HTML. The toggle is to the right of the address fields.
