A quick question about grammar in my story?

Hello. The question is simple. I have wrote a first person horror novel and have had two literary agents wanting the full manuscript (They read the first three chapters and want to see if the full manuscript is full of similar quality.) However, I am not happy with the grammar myself. The plot, character detail and vocabulary is fine, however the grammar I believe is lacking a lot.

I have obviously used many comma's, full stops, colon's, and semicolon's. When reading over my story, I realised I have rarely used hyphen's (-) dashes or ellipsis (...)

My question is: Can you go through an entire story with using minimal punctuation marks? Because it cost me so much money to print off the entire manuscript and you can see where my problems lie. The story I feel still flows well and the sentences are strung together, but I wan't to include as much punctuation as possible.

Should I just stick with my story if I think it is fine, or should I go back and add in - and ...

Thank you for your time. Any help will be appreciated.
