A quick photography question.?

I'm a teenager, who wants to become a photographer
This is possibly a VERY stupid question,
But do photographers edit their pictures,
Or do they just have AMAZING cameras?
If you do edit them, how?

I've seen pictures where it's focused on one thing,
And I want to know how to do that
:)
 
photography is an art.

There are many different ways of reproducing a life image onto a camera...
I suggest you try different functions if you have a digital camera along with the manual and get used to it. OR a great idea would be to take a very good photography course.

Photographers generally have amazing cameras and a unique perspective on the world...depending on the situation, yes, a photo can be edited but I believe the best photos do not need such editing.
