Okay, so i've watched all of the anime and read a lot of the manga and i love this show! So I have a theoretical question for the fans 
If Kaoru was in love with another girl and if he was happy and coincidentally Hikaru likes her too (but not in the same intimate way), then would he give her to Hikaru since he puts his brother first or would it be different? Would Kaoru give up something that mean's a lot to him besides his brother (if that's even possible since their bond is so close)?
I guess I'm a curious person lol. Answers please
