A question regarding Financial Aid!!?

Okay so i'll try to make this as simple as possible. This is my 2nd year attending a JC in the orange county area. Last year i received financial aid and a fee waiver for my classes. This year, my reward letter only consists of a fee waiver and no other type of aid! I have tried emailing my school, calling them, and today i went over only to find a line that went out of the fin aid office building. I know there are budget cuts and everything but friends that are better off than me are receiving tons of money...and if anything, i should be receiving more money than last year since my dad just lost his job a couple months ago. Is there a way to find out why i wont be getting money???
 
Sorry to here about your situation. I suggest you try your best to get a job, and then SAVE it don't spend it.
