A Question Regarding Death Note.

Hey guys,

How many volumes/episodes of death note are there. And is it worth me progressing with it, its fantastic but the series looks enormous and im sceptical as to whether they could maintain the hype.

Any answers much appreciated.
 
There are 37 episodes in the anime, but I don't know how many volumes of manga. It's excellent, I think you'll like it. There's a lot of crazy stuff involved, and it actually makes you think, which is good.
 
37 episodes. [not counting the extra and 2nd season made up filler hoohah]
12 volumes.
1 guidebook.
1 novel.
3 live action movies.

Really the manga and anime are pretty short compared to other stuff.
 
I'd personally say buy up to episode 25, then decide whether you dislike Death Note enough to ruin it with the sh*t last 12 episodes.

Though, almost nobody listens to this warning, so just buy all 37, it's an absolutely amazing series.
 
The majority of it is good. There are maybe 7 slow episodes out of 37 that is not bad. The first few episodes are the best but you are not going to be able to put it down or on hold once you start. Can you rent it?

I love the manga and i loved the anime! the live action movies were good too. Well the japanesse version not american dubbed! Manga first, anime second! This on my top 10 favorite series of all times!
