a question on my car?? 1993 Pontiac grand am se2 door 3.3 litter..?

today i went to start it after went in the store..turned the key but nothing just gauge lights..no clicking NOTHING!! then did turned the key 3 times then it started...the battery is 2 1/2 yrs old..starter dont know..the alternator 1 yr old amps 0ver 13...i know its one of these my guess is the starter...what do you think...????????????????????????
