If religion is not a part of your lives then why do you care so much what others believe? Why do you preach and argue and shove atheism down peoples' throats while condemning religions for doing the same? Why do you criticise religious texts, but follow anything Richard Dawkins has written in an equally obsessive way? Surely someone so firm in their beliefs shouldn't need to argue, right?
For the record, I'm an atheist, but why must you give us all a bad name?
I am most definitely an atheist, don't get angry at me because I've hit a sore spot. I don't believe in God for many reasons, I think the whole concept is frankly ridiculous, but I don't go on about it every waking moment.
Obviously I believe atheism is far more rational than religion, it's the reason I follow it, and I would never criticise scientific evidence, don't take me for a fool. Religion has no place in dictating how any of us live, in schools, in the government, anywhere... but what exactly does insulting people on Yahoo Answers achieve?
