Before you reply please read to the end and read carefully all the points that I make. This is something I feel strongly about and I would like people's opinion. Please read to the end. God bless.
I'm quite shocked how many professing Christian women find nothing wrong with male doctors giving women intimate exams. Remember Jesus said that his kingdom is not of this world. If somebody is truly living the obedient Christian life, he/she will find themselves getting mocked and ridiculed, even by other professing Christians. The world doesn't understand true Christians: To love your enemies, to turn the other cheek, to be honest on your taxes when you can easily cheat, to get upset if your girlfriend or wife lets another man look at and fiddle with her private parts all in the name of medicine, to not repay evil for evil. The world doesn't understand it; the world sees Christians as weird. And sadly many professing Christians will even mock and ridicule those who truly live in obedience to God and stand up for all kinds of morality.
The reason I feel strongly about this is because I find it so hard to understand why so many professing Christian women think that male doctors are morally above other men and do not look at women in a sexual way. I dare you to google "convicted gynecologists" and enjoy the long list of exposed perverts. From my research I have discovered that there are many male doctors who have sinful thoughts and desires when they examine an attractive woman. I know for a fact that God, who is holy, would not condone something that can easily cause a person to sin.
But what I find appalling is the straw man argument when people say, "What if the female doctor is a lesbian." First of all for every rare lesbian doctor there is probably 1,000 male doctors who are exactly the same as other men who like looking at attractive women. And secondly, even lesbians don't have the same lustful sex drive as what men do, so please don't use this very weak argument. I agree that emergency's can be an exception, but other than an emergency women should not see male doctors.
Feel free to give your opinion on this. God bless
