I've read many old car magazines but I've seen many different, conflicting articles on the subject. And if you ask people, you get just as many different answers as the number of people you ask. The question is: how do the three foot pedals on a Model T work? Which pedal does what? How is the hand brake involved? I know that it's also used to control the transmission, at least to put the car into high gear. How would you go about starting, shifting, stopping, and putting the car into reverse?
