This is not the beginning ( I think I spelt that wrong) can you tell me if I have good voice if you can have voice in 3rd person is there anything I could do to make it better? Note: I am only 12
Josh stared at the book, it was green with a weird marking on the front.
Just like in the dream! Josh thought.
He walked slowly across the room to the book and picked it up. The book open on its own, Josh dropped the book onto the ground and looked into it cautiously. A picture apeared on a the page it was open to, it was an egg. Josh backed up, the page was bubbling. Then bubbling stopped instantly and some goop started pooring out. When the goop stopped the egg started coming out of it. He picked up the egg. It was warm.
He looked over to the book. some writing was on the page. It said: 'This egg is a Wyvern egg this Wyvern shall be your pet. A sorcerer's pet is the sorcerer's energy fountain when the sorcerer comes of age. A sorcerer without a magical pet is like a computer without a charger. If the pet dies so will the sorcerer. If the pet is far away you will have your power for a limited time.'
He got his backpack and put the book and the egg in there along with some blankets for cushin. He slung it over his shoulder. He was going to Emily's house.

Emily dumped out all her books onto the grass next to her favorite tree. But a book that wasn't her's or the school's fell out it was purple with a strange marking on the front. She couldn't wait to rub this in Josh's face it was the same one that was in the dream. The book opened to a random page. She looked in the book and saw an egg with blue spects all over. She picked up the book and stood up the picture was disapearing then a slime started pooring out all over, she draopped the book and wiped the slime on her pants. the pooring
stopped and the egg she saw was forming out of the slime. The book now had writing on it. It said: Thisd is a Hydra egg. This Hydra will have 2 heads to start with. It is not poisenous, though this special one has wings and will grow to 5 feet tall and can hold 500 lbs. at once. This Hydra will be your pet. A sorcerer's pet is the sorcerer's energy fountain when the sorcerer comes of age. A sorcerer without a magical pet is like a computer without a charger. If the pet dies so will the sorcerer. If the pet is far away you will have your power for a limited time.'
Emily got up and loaded everything into her backpack. She was going to Josh's house.
