Obviously, there are lots of killings, and people kill all the time. However, killing is also done by the state/government (executions, killing in war, etc.).
What exactly does this commandment mean, and how is it to be interpreted if the government of a country that prides itself on being a Christian nation doesn't abide by it? Or do we abide by it in some quite not so obvious manner?
