Right now I have an Everything Messaging Share plan with Sprint. In a week or so I will be upgrading my phone (probably to the LG Rumor Touch). It's not that I especially like the Touch or that I've read great reviews - it's just that my current phone is breaking. I will also get the data add-on (the $15 dollar per-line, non-smartphone).
If in a few months I buy an unlocked Sprint smartphone, can I activate it to my number? Can I use data with a new smartphone if I don't buy the $30 add-on for data with a smartphone?
