So because i have been having contractions for the last 2 weeks and 2 days my dr wants to "rim" my cervix to see if she can help things along a little bit she asked me to make a hospital trip today this afternoon.( I've been dilating just not fast enough I'm almost 3 cm) I tried looking stuff up online but really didn't find much info. I'm kinda nervous because some stuff online talked about labour starting within a day or two. The baby should be okay since I'm 38 weeks 2 days right? and what is "rimming" is it the same as sweeping the membranes? and if you had the same thing done did it put you in labour right away or take a while? ( i guess i'm kinda scared that the baby may not be ready yet, but yet i'm kinda excited because ive been in intense pain for the last 2 weeks)
