a question about nursery(pre-school)?

i have a daughter who is 1 (born 13th april 2009) ...i have put her down for a place at nursery school(bit early i know) but i was just wondering based on her birth date when she would actually start nursery? so she will be 3 in april 2012 so would she start nursery sept 2012 or the following year, im a little confused about this..uk only
