A question about Laws please help?

My brother and his girlfriend dated for 5 years they own a house together and slip about a year ago they are are in the proceedings of him taken over the house and splinting whats inside all of this is civil because they are not married. She has been moved out for exactly one year today . They have a lawyer appointment set for this week to go over who keeps what and set a time where they both can be present to remove her things from the house. She also has no keys to the house. Last night she knew he would not be around and got in to the house had 10 people and a moving truck and emptied the house out . the police were called they said they could not do anything because it was a civil matter and they would have to talk to the lawyer about it. please help there has not be some privacy law against bring 10 people into the house and breaking in to take everything before they meant with the Lawyers this week. As of right now her name is still on the mortgage because the paper work is not done to switch it to my brothers name. Please help we are in the new process of getting anew lawyer also? anybody know a law or something please
