"do you think the environment is worth saving"

its for a school project, can i have some ideas please :D
 
The issue is not the environment but the damage that can be done to the human race because of our actions on it. Various natural disasters occur which can be avoided and we could get the planet into a state in which it would be uninhabitable to us. It would recover, but we would be gone. That's the thing to bear in mind.
