Hello,
I am currently a grade 11 student in the IB program in Canada, and it is finally that time for me to start thinking about university.
The thing is, I want to get into medical school, so a major in Biology is feasible (I also really like biology).
However, I also like finance and business a lot, and I think it would be a solid back-up plan to double major in both business and biology. If I don't get into Med. school, the business route would be a kind of safety net. My family has a background in business; mother has masters in accounting, and father has MBA, and founded which is now a chain business with many branches.
For business, I would be most interested in Accounting.
My question is:
Are there any schools that allow double major in Business (accounting) and Biology? Schools in Canada, or the United States.
For the States, I'm inclined towards NYU, but the costs are staggering to live in New York. Are there any around the same caliber or higher universities that would be ideal?
My IB marks should be around 35, and I have quite a bit of business extracurricular activities.
I'm going to a science program in University of Toronto this summer, and I also have a bit of leadership.
