...would you like to help answer? How exactly do i go about getting a car, when i don't have the money..

I'm going to college in the fall, and i am in need of a job right now and the only way i'd be able to commute to a job would be by my bike. i want to get a car, and recently stumbled upon a website telling me that getting a car loan could be a possibility. does anyone have more information about this? i'm 20, i'm a student.. and a car would make my life easier.

it's kind of backwards, but i'd be getting a car so i could commute to a nice job around me.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

i'll rate your answers

My friend used his student loans to buy himself a car...He had extra money left over from when he took the loan out..so you could do that...otherwise no one is going to give you a car loan w/o a full-time job to back it up...Or you'll have to get your parents to co-sign or sign off completely...but judging by the fact that you are 20 and they haven't helped you get a car yet, makes it seem like you're not relying on them at all! So I would just try to secure a job with bus transport, or your bike, then use your student loans to help finance one..
PS..if you don't already know this, it's easier to get a student loan..you don't need a job, just be enrolled in school..I have a federal loan, as well as private loans..I actually took out an extra student loan to help pay for my traveling and living expenses(outside of tuition)
