So my boyfriend has a cavalier. Its a standard two door. About a month ago his power steering went. Im not sure exactly what happened but he said him and a buddy fixed it a while back with a clamp.. so im assuming its the pump or w/e allows the fluid to run through. (I dont know much about cars) His emergency break snapped and now a belt or something snapped and it makes a loud scretching noise. He said this morning when he went to start it, it gave a bit.. but wouldn't start. It just rumbles. He's thinking the belt might have something to do with the battery. Also his car shakes when he reaches about 80 km. stops shaking once he gets past 100km.
So...
- his car shakes when he reaches 80km and stops once he gets over 100km
- His power steering is broken
- His emergency break is broken
Does anyone know approx. How much all of this would cost to get fixed? roughly?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
