A publishing question for agents or published authors?

I am currently working on two novels. One I am writing the rough draft of. The other is in the editing phase. I want to find a publisher for them eventually but there is a problem. The finished book is part of a series of 3 books all between 100K and 110K in length. The other book I'm working on is not. Since I have no publishing credits to my name which story would be more likely to get published? The series or the stand alone story? Which one are agents and publishers more likely to take up?
 
the series. they want to CONTINUE to make money. so if your book sells then they are eager for the next installment. a stand alone can only profit so much and most people prefer series.
