Another Pokemon pun title, LOL.

Pretty Cure premieres on YTV Canada March 6th,2009 at 7:30am. It also repeats Saturdays at 1:00pm, and Sundays at 8:00am.
 
AH ha...SO thats where the anime went! As An american I demand that YTV surrender all anime it has back to US telivison! LULZ!

..I really don't know what this anime is but if comes to YTV I hope CN will air it in the US in 09 as well! Because..I need anime on TV I need it or i'll EXPLODE!!
 
That was just a rumor... If they did it was for a short time and was not finalized. It was just before TOEI decide to pull almost all its liscence to get better organized or something.
 
No, they did have the rights to the series, but (Un)fortunately nothing ever came of it. Apparently the rights were dropped at some point and Toei's been trying to market it in the US for a year or two now. 4KiRAB even sent out a press release that explained they no longer had the rights to the series. I don't think it explained what happened exactly, though.

In any case, the dub that'll be airing, from what has been said, will be done in Canada. I'm just hoping Toei or the dubbing company doesn't decide to overlocalize the dub.

Oh & in all honesty what our the chances of a US network like CN airing this show.

And really, Powerpuff Girls and Kingdom Hearts is an odd comparison. One would think the first thing to come to mind is Sailor Moon, but I suppose I'm thinking too last-generationally.
 
Trust me, the anime situation in Canada is worse than in the US. The only anime on TV here I believe is Pokemon, Dinosaur King, Pretty Cure, Bakugan, Naruto, and Bleach.

Don't take Adult Swim and Ani-Monday for granted.
 
I don't know I think were in the same boat i mean the only anime in the U.S. right now still showing new eps are Pokemon,Dino king, Yugioh, Bleach & Code Geass.(wich of those I only watch the last 2) Everything else is reruns, plus it appers that CN isn't going to show the last 10 eps of Naruto here, wich is just durab if you ask me

...and yes I too am glad for AS saturday nights & Sci-fi's Animonday, I just wish that more networks were open to showing anime. Or that Funimation Channel would go Nationwide...But I guess thats a fools dream

& Sigma thats one catchy opening, I think it gave me a cavity..LOL
 
Pretty Cure is VERY popular in Japan. I just hope YTV gives it the props it deserves.

If Pretty Cure came to US TV, it would most likely be on CN.
