A pre-owned Toyota Avalon VS Nissan Maxima, who has better quality?

A couple of day ago i was asking some people and some of my friends if i got a pre-owned Nissan Maxima(2002-2003)would that be a good vehicle. Everyone has told me yes, but i have also had someone tell me since i was thinking about getting a pre-owned Maxima, i should also try looking into a used Toyota Avalon(2002-2003) What my question is, if i got the Avalon instead of the Maxima would that be a better choice? Eventhough i am looking at the both of them around the same year(2002-2003) the Maxima seems to be more sporty and flasher, and the Avalon seems more luxurious. between both vehicles who has better quality?, and out of the two which one is most likely not to get stolen? because out of my research on the Maxima, i have read some stories of people walking out to their car, and their headlights are stolen, or the car is gone.also i have found out that the Maxima is one of the most stolen sedans out their besides the Accord etc. does the Avalon have the same problem?
 
id go with the maxima, its more funner to drive and just looks cooler, i see old people driving avalons
 
I have worked in the car business for 8 years and here's what I can tell you: I can't tell you the number of calls I've gotten from people saying "I want a Honda, Toyota, or a Nissan." Truthfully, none of the people I've met can understand how Nissan got in that group. Best thing we can come up with is that Nissan offers financing to people who probably shouldn't get financing so they become popular in lower income neighborhoods, which explains why they get stolen more.

If you take a few minutes to research the Avalon and Toyota in general, you'll find that Toyota leads everyone in terms of quality, reliability, and class. Remember that Toyota makes Lexus? Go with the Avalon. Get a certified model and you get a 7-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty too.
 
if all things are even , like wear and mileage and so on.......Toyota Avalon is better
