I have a Kicker L7 with a max power rating of 1500w (750rms), my headlights flicker and I understand that the amp is starving for more power to drive the subs demanding bass notes. So I try not cut it up too much for long times or whatever until I buy a cap.. now my questions are if I get 3 farad cap shud that be optimal to reserve much enough power for the hits? And the other question is, is it possible to tie the cap to the car's speaker system as well because the amp will be a 600x6 type of channeling? Just to take alot of stress off alternator and battery for the best performance possible SAFELY...sidenote...the car is having a upgraded speaker system(Focal)
