A poll for those planning to vote republican this presidential election. How important are social issues?

I ask this because I live in a red state, but it is economic issues most people focus on. I keep hearing about a religious right, but even the right here tends to mock them. On the other hand though, my state did vote in favor of an addition to our constitution that would be a barrier to gay marriage. And I do hear talk of secularism being a threat especially since Gingrich has made headlines again.

So which is more important to you? The economic aspect or the social one?
