Days drift past in silence,
Each edging closer to.....
To a farewell once again.
People come and go,
Some harder to let go of.
But what is to say that,
Years of buried memories,
Won't once again arise.
A familiar face or voice,
Suddenly back from the dead,
Will catch me adrift.
There we will stand, reunited,
Like the day we first parted.
Reminsicing before we say....
Before we part in smiles,
Awaiting the next ten years.
