I watched from the start and can give you some info.
From what I know, David was a chartered Accountant, not sure what Ann did though. Both were married when they met each other. They owned a big house in Essex which they sold to fund their Slovakian idea.
That is all I can think of at the moment, which was shown fro the start of the show.

I go to Slovakia quite often as my husband is working there, So decided to go see Ann & David the Chateau is going to be very nice once finished, they are opening on the 1st Dec,they are a very nice couple, and look forward to the 3rd Dec as we hope to stay for the night.

I love this program. I can't believe they bought a chateau then flew off to Tunisia for a holiday!

Anyone know when the second series is coming? I remember them saying there'd be a follow up series. Just randomly remembered it. The first series was brilliant and a second would really cheer me up

No clue, but my Slovak friend found it very funny that people from the UK wanted to buy a house in her country!

Been watching this all week on one of the sky channels, missed it other times but I`m enjoying it so much, but is it for real?..Just got up to the swimsuit (!) episode, I don`t know whether to laugh or cry.
Are David and Ann still at the Chateau? anyone one got any up-to-date info on them?

I caught this the other night.
Not sure if I have missed any as I watched from the bit where Ann met Patrick in the swimming pool.
Ann & David are totally hilarious. In the miRABt of renovating they take themselves off to Tunisia. That swim suit was something else. 
Then buying that rug for thousanRAB.
Ann is a legend.
