I have a test tomorrow about Newtons laws of motions. I generally understand it except for two general problems. One problem is to find the tension of all three ropes. They give us a diagram of two ropes and a block labeled 5m. One degree measure is 30 degrees and the other is 40. I understand you must find the weight (W=ma) for the rope pulling down, but how about the other ropes? Please explain as much as possible.
