a new bike for a 13 year old?

i want the 26" Men's Mongoose Blackcomb All Terrain Bike but i wanna know if it is worth $300 (wal-marts price). if it isn't just answer however. but if you know a place where i can get it cheaper ( i live in Central PA) but a link in sources thank you

You would be better off going to a bike shop and getting a good hard tail bike. The bikes sold at Walmart are junk.
