A NCIS debate whether Agent McGee is a pity whore?

I am having this debate with my bro about NCIS.We love watching NCIS. But there is a character I just don't like on the show. It is agent McGee reasons why I don't like him. Is that he is a pity whore in my opinion . Two examples if Tony makes fun of him or Gibbs gives him a hard time for not doing his job. He looks down waiting for someone to sympathize with him to make him feel better .I just think its annoy. But my brother just thinks I am a hater. Just wondering if someone gets the same vibe ?
 
first of all, NCIS is an awesome show, high fives for watching it *high five* and McGee is actually one of my favourite characters, but he is kinda a pity whore,you're right. it works though because I actually wind up feeling bad for him, Tony always makes fun of him and he does try to do his job...do you feel like Abby gets way too much lenience from Gibbs? She always talks about so much random stuff before she gets to the point. I like her and all but I think she can get annoying sometimes...
