If you've seen my most recent question (besides this one), you'll know I'm in a bit of a lovesick situation right now. The good thing about it is that the woman I'm in love with has at least inspired a poem. It doesn't really have a name yet, so I'll just call it "A Lovesick Poem" for now:
------------------------
When wishes turn themselves to dreams,
How do we make dreams real;
When all we see at night
Are the things in day we feel?
Does writing manifest itself,
And if so, in what way?
Can we be sure they understand
The message we convey?
Or is it up to action,
The hammer and the sword,
The tongue's responsibility
To get out every word?
My dreams are growing stronger now,
My wishes even more;
So now it's time to reveal my wish
And ease this heart so sore!
-----------------
Feel free to comment on it; I just posted it to get it out into the world.
