A lot of Fish Questions?

1.- Do you know if Petco or Petland sell Liquifry?

2.- How can I effectively lower my PH and hardness levels without the use of live plants?

3.- Which kind of thermometer is the most accurate: Alcohol(Or, mercury I don't know what they put in it), Liquid crystal (the one that changes colors, sometimes called "digital"), or live display(the one that displays the temperature like a digital clock)?

4.- I don't have a female now, but how would I go about breeding Neon Tetras or other smaller tetras, and how would I create a gold, or other color variety version?

5.- About 25 people have said my tanks are way overstocked, yet my fish have no diseases or deaths in 5 months, how is this possible, how am I defying logic to so many people?

6.- Which kind of tests are more accurate, the strip kind with the pads, or the drip kind with the dropper?

I know, a lot of questions, but I will appreciate any help, thank you.

1) I don't think petco does, and I don't have any petlands near me.

2)There are chemicals, but they are a temporary fix and are often pretty harsh on the fish with the whole up and down of chemistry. If it's not that bad, I suggest leaving it rather than chemically treating it.

3) I believe that mercury, I think most are mercury, is the most accurate.

4) sorry, no idea : ( but I hear golds hard to achieve

5)You must have great filtration and hardy stock : ) My 60 is overstocked, technically, but I've had more problems in my 20 than the over done 60 has ever had. Good healthy fish, good water quality management, regular changes and not overfeeding are all great ways to have a happy healthy tank. You've probably also got pretty calm and easy going fish. A packed aggressive tank is different than a packed community tank with apporpriate fish living together.

6) The drip ones are far more accurate.
